We're Not Alone Transitional Housing for Women and Children
We are very excited to announce We The People, Inc. of the United States (www.wtpus.org) has opened up a Transitional Home for Women and Children here in Tallahassee, We're not alone. Our mission is to instill hope into women and children who are experiencing homelessness by the renewing of the mind, taught through biblical principles and counseling, and to provide them with the resources to transition from homelessness to sustain self-sufficiency.

We're not alone will help meet the needs of women and children experiencing homelessness. In our unique program we will provide spiritual counseling, employment opportunities, case management, life skills classes, mentorships, and other necessary resources. We believe that every person has a right to become self-sufficient and it is our passion to help the homeless do so.

Ways To Get Involved
  • Christian counselors - Counselors will be trained to do Christian counseling with the women of the home.

  • Christian mentors - Mentors will be matched with a woman or family to be a friend and mentor while in the program

  • Devotionals - People to lead 30 minute devotionals on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm

  • Worship - People to lead short 30 worship sessions on Wednesday nights at 7:30 pm

  • People to come in and make dinner or bring dinner in for the families

  • One or two families to sponsor a family for Christmas

  • One or two families to sponsor a child or lady for their birthday

  • Lead a Bible Class or a Life Skill Class
